MRI Education Seminars

Improve Your Facility's Revenue Through Staff Education.

MRI Education Seminars with Category A Credit.

  • Increased Throughput: Many sites try to increase the number of patients scanned per day by shortening the time allowed for each procedure. While this will accomplish the goal of having more patients on the schedule each day, inexperienced or inadequately trained technologists are not able to keep up with the schedule. Obviously, as with large airports and weather delays, once the schedule is delayed, it only gets worse over the course of the day. This only results in angry and frustrated patients.
  • Repeat Studies: Having to call a patient back for additional sequences impacts the facility in several ways. The most obvious is again dealing with patient satisfaction. The patient is inconvenienced and may well have increased anxiety thinking that something bad was found on the original study. In addition to the patient issues, the final report to the referring physician is delayed creating an additional dissatisfied customer. Lastly, the time slot is lost with regards to a billable procedure.
  • New Procedures: As MR technology improves, the number of applications increase. If the technologists are unable to perform the studies, or even worse, perform them poorly, the facility is unable to grow their business. Why spend upwards of 1.5 million dollars on a piece of equipment, and not invest in educating the staff in the efficient use of the system?
Seminars are available in half day or full day formats.

Half Day consists of up to 4 hours of educational lectures. This may be a single lecture repeated 4 times or several different lecture topics up to 4 hours duration.

Each 50-minute lecture topic will be pre-approved for category A credit.

If it is desired that the presentation(s) be given over the course of a day such that the speaker is required to be on-site for more than 6 hours, then the full day rate will apply.
