Your MRI Magnet Is On 24 / 7. The magnetic fields generated by the vast majority of clinical MRI systems are always on.
Although the scanner may not be in use, high magnetic fields (1.5 Tesla or higher) are always present.
Therefore it is essential to alert everyone to this fact and maintain safety standards around the clock in the magnet room. This lighted sign is an important warning to everyone including emergency rescue personnel and others who may not be familiar with the dangers associated with MRI. This light can be hardwired into the emergency lighting system to provide the necessary warnings even when the electricity goes out or fitted with a standard plug. Professional installation required. This lighted sign is double-sided and can be mounted perpendicular to the wall above a door so that it can be seen from both directions in a corridor, or mounted flat above a door. Please Note: This sign must remain outside of the scan room and away from your MRI's magnetic field. |
