Portable Hand-Held Gaussmeter |
| Fully
portable hand-held hall effect gaussmeter designed as a true self-contained
instrument for DC and C (RMS) magnetic field measurements.
Its lightweight and small size allows the operator to rapidly
and conveniently measure magnetic fields with the same accuracy
as many laboratory instruments, but with the added convenience
of hand-held portability, which extends its usefulness for
many applications.
Three full-scale bipolar ranges of + 100.0 gauss, + 1,000 gauss, and + 10.00 KG with 100% over-range and resolution of 0.05% provides DC and AC field readings from 10 Hz to 20 KHz; readings are displayed on a 3 ½ digit + 0.05% bipolar LCD meter. In addition, a wide selection of pre-calibrated transverse and axial Hall probes are available to meet most every application, including probes that will extend the measuring range of this instrument to 150.0 G. Standard features include batteries, leather-like carrying case, and a 6' extension probe cable. In order to insure long battery life, an AUTO-SHUTOFF circuit that remembers to shut the instrument off if accidentally left in the operate mode, is optional. To further extend battery life, a battery charger/eliminator is supplied which will also provide for AC operation when required. Alkaline batteries can also be replaced with "AA" rechargeable batteries. NOTE: Gaussmeter is not MRI safe. Please keep a safe distance away from magnet. |
