03-NGHS
This newly redesigned earmuff headset fits comfortably and securely over the ears, providing a full 29db Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) to patients during
their scan. Tested according to the ANSI specification S3.19-1974, this headset offers the maximum attenuation available to patients in the MRI
environment |
 |
03-SNGHS
ANSI specification S3.19-1974 requires patients undergoing MRI to be provided with noise reduction devices offering a minimum of 29db Noise Reduction
Rating (NRR). The SNGHS is not rated sufficiently to reduce noise, and therefore must be used in conjunction with earplugs with a minimum
NRR rating of 29 in order to be ANSI compliant |
 |
03-SHS
The Standard Head Set is typical in design to an airline headset. Light weight and completely pneumatic, it fits comfortably over the ears. Adjustable
to accommodate larger heads. ANSI specification S3.19-1974 requires patients undergoing MRI to be provided with noise reduction devices
offering a minimum of 29db Noise Reduction Rating (NRR). The SHS is not intended or rated to reduce noise, and therefore must be used
in conjunction with earplugs with a minimum NRR rating of 29 in order to be ANSI compliant. Compatible with Sanitary Covers Small (SCS). |
 |
03-FEPHS
The Foam Ear Piece Head Set is a stethoscope style head set with disposable foam ear tips. Fits easily into any head coil on adults and children
alike, and is completely pneumatic. Replacement foam ear pieces available. ANSI specification S3.19-1974 requires patients undergoing
MRI to be provided with noise reduction devices offering a minimum of 29db Noise Reduction Rating (NRR). The FEPHS is not intended
or rated to reduce noise, and therefore must be used in conjunction with earplugs with a minimum NRR rating of 29 in order to be ANSI
